History


Team Mansur has rural roots going back to 1983, when brothers Jim and Dave Mansur started the company on the family farm just outside of Janesville, WI.  The Mansur brothers started out as drivers with just two trucks and most days out on the road.  It wasn’t long before they had developed many great relationships with customers and reputations as high quality carriers.  That’s because early on, Jim and Dave found that flatbed hauling was more than just having equipment and getting the load from one place to another.  They knew that doing business the right way meant providing customers with the peace-of-mind that their loads will be safe and on time, every time.  The company was able to grow tremendously over the next few years by consistently delivering that confidence, and freight, for customers.  In 1994, continued growth had made expansion necessary so the Mansur headquarters moved from the family farm into a brand new facility right off the I-39/90 freeway in Janesville.  Here the company was able to implement a full-service maintenance facility and wash bay as well as a warehouse and parking lot for various operations.  Since then the Mansur fleet has been able to grow to over a hundred trucks and two hundred trailers while still maintaining the values  and friendly atmosphere forged in the early years of the company back on the family farm.
